Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
tracy4 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I downloaded the upgrade archive about two hours ago. I do have the "2.2.1" at the bottom of my forum but it doesn't bother me as I disabled the version display anyway. Upgrading worked without any (reported :)) problems. Do I still have to download the init.php with the full IPB download and upload it, or would that only be necessary if I wanted the correct version in the forum footer?
jabial Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Please add the init.php to the upgrade zip. I downloaded it from the full archive and everything is OK.
ArunOnline Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 er, can anyone from IPS tell me whether it is still necessary to get the init.php file and add it to upgrade zip ? Or has this been updated already ?
bfarber Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 It is my understanding the upgrade zip has been updated this morning with init.php
.Ryan Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 It is my understanding the upgrade zip has been updated this morning with init.phpI installed the update last night, and it worked fine to my knowledge. Should I update my init.php file again?
UBERHOST.NET Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I installed the update last night, and it worked fine to my knowledge. Should I update my init.php file again? The init.php was missing from the upgrade zip only, and it only affects the display of the version number displayed to users, if you have that enabled.
