I have a suggestion about meta tags. As you know meta tags are really important for search engines. But i couldnt see any built in feature for meta tags. When the site doesnt have meta information search engines show random content from site as a description.

When you right click and view source of page you can see that <title> Site Title </title> But there is no meta tag for description + keywords.

So i guess it is a miss featured at ipb because this option is already built in at other paid + free bulletin board systems.

Just put the meta tags in your board wrapper.
