Proper way to upgrade...

Featured Replies

So I'm wondering, I have a SuSE box, I set it up with a copy of my forums, uploaded the files, it runs okay...

Components shows a blank page... so does various other features (the arcade works fine though :P).

Anyway, I just copied over the old installation, nothing fancy. Is this the propper way? What if I want to clean out those old incompatalbe components (I can't get to the screen!)? How do you guys do it?

I just wanna know for when I upgrade my active board to 2.2 Final.

wait for

Invision Power Board 2.2.0

FINAL

Agreed, but it would make upgrading easier without jumping a long way :D

Well I know that for my live board.

But what is the propper way to upgrade my live board files, do I remove all the folders, upload the new ones, and re-upload old images and uploads and blogs? Or do I just copy over?
