Will L. Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 which button on this new RTE is UNLINKEDIT: anyone notice all our avatars on this forums are clickable
N.U. Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 The unlink was removed, because everyone want the classic look back. But now everyone wants the special items stuff back. The avatars link to your profile because everyone was annoy about having to click the drop down just to get to it. They seem to add the link to both a name and the avatar. Don't know why there are 3 links to the same location like that.I guess now where going to end up having two versions of the RTE now...
Logan Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Whattt? I can't believe the unlink button was removed. That came in so handy. I can't say I liked the dropdown look either, but the unlink functionality didn't need to be removed, could just add a button for it too (same one with an X through maybe)...Gah...

Mark Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 how about 'Add link' becomes 'Unlink' when a link is highlighted?
Logan Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Nevermind, just figured out that Remove Formatting can remove links. That's good enough for me, as long as the functionality is there :)

bfarber Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Both the remove formatting AND the insert link will unlink a link if it's highlighted.
Logan Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Both the remove formatting AND the insert link will unlink a link if it's highlighted.Insert link doesn't unlink a link for me when highlighted? Brings up the link prompt actually.
