W13 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I'm an Opera user and I immediately noticed some things didn't function like they should in 2.2 (i.e. clicking on smilies doesn't work- I have to select them from the drop-down)Is 2.2 made with browsers other than FF and IE in mind?
sully Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I'm an Opera user and I immediately noticed some things didn't function like they should in 2.2 (i.e. clicking on smilies doesn't work- I have to select them from the drop-down)Is 2.2 made with browsers other than FF and IE in mind?I would of assumed if it worked in FF, it would work pretty much in Opera! Thought it was just IE that was a pain at times. Guess not. >|
Dark Phantom Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Firefox, recently is unable to add smilies via the Side Panel, it worked within 24 hours of this forum to the 2.2 series ( actually before it was Public Beta 1 ).
Philouke Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Weird, I have the same problem with the non clickable emoticons ...

Josh DeVeau Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Another problem with opera is that it will tell me it's logging me in but it won't log me in.
Josh DeVeau Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Is anyone else having a similar problem?
Management Matt Posted September 26, 2006 Management Posted September 26, 2006 The smilies not being clickable is a bug that's been fixed.
Josh DeVeau Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 What about not being able to log in? I really don't want to have to reinstall it.
Josh DeVeau Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Did people forget about this topic or something?
Logan Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I've had no problems logging in.I suggest you check out your cookie settings, if they're very wrong it can cause for you to not be able to login. If you're logging in and getting logged out, you most likely have the board on the same domain as your live board... try setting a cookie prefix on one of them.
Root0101 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I'm still unable to click on the emoticons in Mozilla Firefox. Is anyone experiencing the same problem?
Mat Barrie Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I'm still unable to click on the emoticons in Mozilla Firefox. Is anyone experiencing the same problem? It's fixed in Public Beta 2, which is (ironically) currently in Private Beta testing. This board still runs it's predecessor.
Josh DeVeau Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I've cleared all cookies from my domain. Everything was working when I first installed it, then for some reason it just stopped working, everything works fine otherwise in IE6.
Cool Surfer Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I am also having the same problem. Smileys of the left sideare not clickable. I am using firefox.
