So far, for e-mail notifications, my community-name was shown as a sender. This morning I did the upgrade to v4.7.17 and now only “noreply” is shown. The sender e-mail address is the same, noreply@invisioncloudcommunity.com.

We have our own license management system based on IPB for our desktop software application. In order to prevent interception of the network traffic, which could be used for software piracy, we encrypt requests and responses between the desktop application and a PHP script on our server. The PHP script then uses the IPB web API to retrieve information about the user's license. The response to the user is encrypted, so they cannot intercept the response to spoof a fake valid license. The board that I'm referencing in this post is fairly new (1 month live as of the 20th). I have Friendly URL's enabled, but index.php?/ is still part of the URL. Is there a good reason to rewrite the URL's to eliminate that? Is there an even better reason NOT to rewrite, such as major problems that it may cause? Like I said, the board is new, but there's around 50,000 posts at this point. I don't want to do something that's going to screw things up if the current setup is just fine.

On our site, the "community" blog is having the URL "/blogs/blog/5-cricket/". Apparently, after renaming the blog, the URL did not sync with the new name. The url by ID alone "/blogs/blog/5" does not work but strangely partial url "/blogs/blog/5-x" works as it does with topics, etc. Please change the URL to "/blogs/blog/5-community" as there is no way to edit its URL in the frontend or ACP.

I applied the latest patch yesterday, and since doing this I am seeing repeated errors in my logs. The timing could be coincidence. Today there are ~100 entries do far today. Forum Version: 4.7.16 PHP Version: 8.1.27 Problem Statement: Attempting to use pages->blocks->create new block where Block Type is custom Manual PHP results in binary response on Save. When attempting to save a custom block of this type, it results in what appears to be a binary response. Hi, When the privacy setting for a club is set to 'Open', the member is taken to the Club Rules page and are invited to 'Accept' the rules at the foot of the page. However, 'Join club' is displayed again on the Rules page in the Club menu bar. This is causing confusion, as some members will instead click 'Join Club' (which is displayed immediately in their viewport) and they are looped back to the same Rules page. 'Join Club' should not display on the Rules page. I have not tested this for other privacy settings.

1. Member posting is now working with the latest patch 👍 2. Database records made in clubs do not appear in feeds, not the club feed or the Activity feed. I have seen reactions to records though. 3. Pages Feed Blocks don’t honor club-level access permissions. On the club level, I turned off access for “Members not in this club” and the records can’t be accessed by non-club-members. But Pages Feed blocks for the database contain these records, despite “honor permission” being activated. Hey there, I recently upgraded my community from an ancient 4.3 to the latest 4.7.16. Upgrade mostly went smoothly, with one exception: specifically, we're now unable to upload profile photos to S3 (this previously worked pre-upgrade). Other uploads work: image attachments to posts and cover photos work just fine and upload without issue. It's specifically profile photos that seem to have an issue. I've attempted to upload multiple gif, png and jpg images with essentially the same result: select a photo, it seems to get uploaded to the S3 bucket under monthly_YYYY_MM, but then upon pressing Continue the POST to /profile/<id>-<username>/photo/?ajaxValidate…

Hi, Attachments are no longer working on our site: https://ncsi-collaboratives.wested.org/ I am able to create a blog post, attach a pptx file, and it shows it uploads fine. But I receive an error message when I try clicking on the file. I looked at some older posts and they are doing the same thing. The error message: Sorry! If we try to sign in as a member from the ACP we just get the front end login page. It's not entirely consistent, maybe 1 out of 30 tries it works. Have not found any pattern.
