  2. Update: My board webhost provider has fixed the problem for me. They confirmed it was some kind of bug in their PHP security software which is now fixed. All good now.
  3. Ok great and thank you.
  4. Alternatively if I do the upgrade myself what are the steps I have to follow? Yes it is likely crazy-ridiculous for me to be asking this question when I haven't upgraded in a decade but better late than never. I need to get my admincp fixed asap.
  5. Q: How much would it cost for me (if you provide this service) to have Invision upgrade my board?
  6. Ok TY. True I haven't updated it in a decade and I absolutely should do that. However right now I don't have the time to set aside to do that big upgrade and am just hoping that there is a solution to fix this in the meantime. Everything else on my board is working fine.
  7. www.harnessdriver.com. Running Invision 4 and this morning I can't log in to my control panel. The login credentials are correct but when I enter my username/password nothing happens.

  9. Update: Problem has been solved by changing the board url to https in the config_gobal.php file.
  10. Error code: 1S267/1 Your browser does not accept cookies which is required in order to log in. I receive this error message when trying to log in to my board (harnessdriver.com) from either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. There is no problem with Firefox. I am on an older version of Invision board.
  11. I only get notified via email when a registrant is registered. Sadly I do not get an email when the validation cycle is completed. I just logon and check.

I use the banned members group when I want all other members to see that the member is banned. I use the new method when I do not want any member to notice that the member is banned. It works very effectively.

I answered the OP the same when he/she sent me a test PM stating hello etc. I was going to report the PM as spamming. Overnight I received a reply to the PM stating the same problem as this topic.

I do not want to change what we have now. If I wanted to change the visibility to Banned, then I use the old method of banning (separate group). The new and alternate method is not visible and I do not want it changed. It was introduced in 3.x and should remain the same. Suspending a member also should not be visible to others as it always has been that way and must remain so.

Your assertions that there are infringements on the copyrights etc are only allegations (at the moment). It is a stretch to try and get Invision involved at this point. I am baffled that you would look at the TOS even before any liability has been found. I wish you good luck.
