Yes, we use cloud flare, however disabling it has no effect. I disabled it as well as did a full purge. I then also tried in incognito mode to make sure it was not a current browser session cache and I still need to hit refresh a couple of times to get the images to finally load. Thanks, P

Hello guys, I am having an issue which was not a problem up until around the new version of IPS 4.7.15 was installed. It is also worth noting our server is operating on PHP 8.1.27 On our homepage we have the "Top Picks Images" widget which is linked to an image album on the site. It now has an odd behaviour whereby it will show the image titles, but no image. I have noted that upon multiple refreshes, you can sometimes get the images to load, but that is not ideal. This is what you see on first page load + Whereas it should look like this, but you can only get to this after many refreshes. I do not think it is the custom theme we are using as I have just tried the default IPS theme and I get the same results. Is this a known issue ? Any help is fixing this would be appreciated. Thanks for the info. If I go that route so that the Warning is linked to that particular post, does the warned user see that inherent link so they can associate the warning with their posted content ? I assume mods and admins can see the link but unsure if a standard user will.

Hey guys, Quick question. So far as I know, to warn a user, you have to go into their profile and click the "Warn User" button, this then brings up the window where you can select the warning and enter in text relating to the warning etc, or edit the text already associated to the warning. However, is there any built in functionality in IPS where a Warn button is on the users posts/postbit so that when it is clicked, the offending content is auto quoted into the warning message ? I just find this makes life easier for moderators and also ensures each warning has the correct amount of context so the offending users is 100% clear on why they were warned for. This also helps avoid human error if a mod forgets to add in the context manually. Perhaps I have missed something, it is a feature I have seen on other platforms and curious if it is here on IPS or if this is going to have to be a custom modification. Thanks, P

Unfortunately, no response from @SoftwareFactory as of yet and I am not expecting one either as they seem to have been MIA for a while now. I have not found any other way to contact them either as I wanted to see if I could check in with them, outside of the IPS forums 😞 This is possibly a dead plugin.

A more precise error message for users exceeding attachment quota
Hey guys, I have come across this issue a few times now on my community and its getting more frequent. To explain, I have subscription levels with different upload attachment quota's for members. The issue I am coming across is when a user has hit the attachment quota limit associated with their subscription level, they get a non precise error which leads us to receiving unnecessary support tickets due to confusion. See the error below that our users receive when they hit the quota limit. Users will create support tickets making the assumption that either: A. We have changed our file upload policies regarding single file upload size B. That there is some form of platform bug When neither of the above is the case. This message needs to be far clearer than it is. At the very least it should elude to the fact the user has reached their attachment quota limit, or do not have enough remaining quota for the upload. They way users read it is "1 file would exceed the total allowed size....". Allowed size of what exactly ? Hopefully this message can be made clearer moving forward, it would be appreciated. AdSense states "Site down or unavailable"
Hmmm, I can check into that, but I have multiple monitors that let me know as soon as they site becomes unreachable in one way or another and none of them have been triggered. I have also tried on several occasions to do the verification and during every one of those periods, the site was 100% up. I will speak with the host and see if they have had any similar issues and do some tests with CF. Will report back any findings.

Hey guys, I am setting up ads for my site, however I keep hitting a wall with finishing the setup due to "Policy Violations". The policy violation being that for some reason every time Google attempts to verify it keeps reporting that the "Site Is Down Or Unavailable", see below screenshot. I cannot see anything that would block Google from accessing the site. We have Google Analytics/Indexing etc accessing the site just fine, so I see no reason for Adsense to have problems. I have tried asking for assistance on the Google forums but they are not particularly helpful...in the sense I have not heard from anyone. I know the URL is fine as Google has already verified the adsense code snippet and ads.txt file. So its looking in the right place. Has anyone else experienced this with their IPS community ? If so, hoe did you manage to remedy it ? Thanks In advance.

Ahh right, understood. That is a shame, at least we have it available for the Mark Site As Read. Manually refreshing the page after Marking Forum items as read is no big deal. Thanks!

I can only assume it is something on my site then that possibly interferes. I have made sure the plugin no longer exists and I have made sure all the group settings are correct for the application, however I still have to manually refresh the page for the counter to update. I am referring to the this site where this application is being used : https://extremehw.net/ I note in your video you are clicking on "Mark Site As Read", I am trying to use the "Mark Forum As Read" function. If I use the "Mark Site As Read" the application functions correctly. Can we make it do the same for Mark Forum As Read" ?

Thanks! I did just install the new app, but the behaviour is still the same...at least for me. When I mark a forum as read, the page refreshes but the counter does not, the counter only updates when I refresh the page via the browser.

@Adriano Faria an improvement request if possible as per here: Summary, when a user in any given forum selects "Mark forum as read", when the page refreshes it will update the forum, but not the unread counter. You need to do an additional refresh for the counter to update. Can it be made so the counter refreshes when the system automatically refreshes the page when marking all items read ? Hey all, I had a look through the notification settings on my IPS site and note there does not seem to be an option to receive only a single daily digest email, did I miss something or is this something that is not part of the suite ? Thanks P

Thanks Marc. Although my queries are not addressed, let me rephrase with some edits: ** Subscription purchase is mandatory for registering a new account. ** Query-1. A Guest (unregistered member) registers with a subscription (with 7-day free trial), and is supposed to move into PREMIUM group C. During the trial period, in which group they would be? Query-2. The renewal term starts at $10 per month; and upon successful payment, will they remain in the same PREMIUM group C? Query-3. Do the change of group action occur during the renewal or once they bought the trial subscription? Query-4. If their renewal term does not start due to payment issues at their end; will they remain in PREMIUM group C? If not, then where? Query-5. In which group they will move back if the purchase expires or is canceled? Remember, they were registered from being Guest. Any knowledgable member can guide please.
