I am on the current version of the board.

I am getting problems with spammers doing the quick registration, not validating their email and having the ability to post.

Where do I set the board to REQUIRE the email validation before posting??

Looks like a legitimate message that gets sent out for incomplete “post before register” submissions. If you want to prevent that, you would need to turn off Post before Register. If you allow guest submissions, you also get bounces like that. It’s in the nature of this functionality.

I am getting multiple email bounce backs from my email server (I operate my own entire rack) which are spawning from my forum site.  It looks like spammers are trying to leverage some function within the software to spawn messages out of the system.

Please review the information below.  I believe we are going to need a software patch to fix this.

I would appreciate feedback or a patch to prevent this abuse.  I am running the most current version of the forum software.

Just to clarify, this migration wizard is built into an official Oracle/MySQL product, called MySQL workbench which is a windows application.  

I have never had a problem using that application to move many databases in the past.

I will try the method above and report how it goes.

I am trying to move one of my IPS FORUM sites to another MYSQL server.

When I run the migration wizard in MYSQL WORKBENCH (latest version), I get the error below.

Please note that I am on MYSQL 8.x (very current versions on both servers).

Obviously I am asking this because I don't want to have any data loss while migrating.  I've migrated many MYSQL databases but have never seen this.
