@Stuart Silvester encouraged me to look into this as he mentioned not having an issue with some testing. I may have found the fix to this and got it working on my sites. Turns out that even though the default notification settings in ACP where correct for email: The DB was not showing this under the default notifications table and showing inline only (not sure why). I re-saved in ACP and now the db is correct: After this, it does seem to be working. It seems that the fix may be to re-save the default notifications in ACP. Why the db did not reflect what is in ACP, I do not know. I am going to have to recheck all default notifications and re-save them. Check your db table core_notification_defaults if you are having issues.

Sure, but the theme here lately is cloud, cloud, and now enterprise only… that’s the disconnect. As for where to begin and end…The difference is that normal users have the option to get Gallery and even on self hosted plans (currently), Gallery isn’t for “enterprise only” customers, which is just not affordable or realistic for the majority that frequent this forum.

Maybe make an enterprise only membership and forum then. Who really cares if you will never be an enterprise client? Why do I need to know about something I will never have available to me? I've wasted time reading someting thinking its a great new feature, that in turn, will not exist for me and many, many others.

Since video streaming is an enterprise option only, I would say it does not apply to the majority on these forums. I would not have posted this, it only points out what the majority will not get. Especially with a title like "video streaming coming soon"...click bait!

Is this really for cloud enterprise customers only? How many of them are in these forums? Maybe you should put a halo or some sort of identifier around their profile pics…they seem to be the gold standard around here..lol! Anyone can use AWS, it isn’t restricted to large users. Why can’t that vendor offer a plug-in/app?

Video streaming sounds great, although I'm self-hosted so I will wait to get excited. I would settle for 3rd party video conversion/streaming from cloudflare 😎

Thanks for clarifying the public part @Adriano Faria and @Nathan Explosion I just thought maybe there was a way to achieve this with permissions. Not trying to beat a dead horse. I will just need to have this custom made.

Is there a way to manage the application's usergroup permission? Nothing happens when I drop down the arrow under apps. I was thiking of shutting off to certain usergroups to try and achieve what I want to do and hide content created by only some usergroups. Is this possible to shut the app off to certain usergroups in this manner via overall app permission?

How's this coming? Figured I check a couple of months now since the last post. I've been manually setting each member in ACP before approving so they get this email notification and come back to the site, but it's time consuming with multiple sites.

I get spam through contact as well that I have creating tickets. I always mark them in IPS as SPAM, but I'm not really sure what that does because they keep coming back. Is there a log that holds this info? Not sure. Would be good if I marked it as SPAM they would not be able to create a new contact/request or were automatically marked for the next time.

I agree. What I like is that iframely helps embed some web pages with images instead of just the links. Its a very nice added feature, but if you have a lot of one source that can be custom added, thats the way to go.

I have to allocate some time to learn how to add custom endpoints and as long as custom endpoints get checked before the iframely API, iframely would really just be a catch-all that hasn’t been added via custom endpoints. Iframely hits are max 24 per day on the same url.

Quick question.. after I enabled iframely integration, it seems captivate.fm takes longer to embed. Is it possible it now runs through iframely? I did see the captivate urls in iframely. Just curious if it checks that first before hitting the iframely API. If you have iframley API enabled, is captivate and anything else built in, endpoints, etc., checked first? Thanks.

I have this from @DawPi, works good. I would be interested in any updates. I do think a simple X amount of downloads remaining for the day/week/month would be nice. My settings are as such: If a user has downloaded 2 files yesterday and now 2 today, they have 6 left for the week and see: I almost wish it was simple like: Downloads Remaining Day Week Month 0 6 16

I've been able to correlate on one of my sites that shutting off zlib compression while on PHP 8.0.17 allows the site to come back on. I have all plugins apps disabled, tested with default theme. Turned zlib compression back on and the site goes down and blank white page. Turn it off, comes back online. On another IPS site same server, I have zlib compression set to ON and running PHP 8.0.17 without issue. Shut it off/on, no issues. Very odd why one is ok and the other is not, same setup. I looked at caching/redis and if there are any differences. All my IPS sites are on the same server, same settings. The site that is working is running:

I got this for the first time also on the 24th, but I sent out a bulk email for the first time in a year on that day. I typically use a newsletter app. I got five of these, triggered from the bulk email. I've never received these from regular email notifications that go out.

I'm not sure its theme related because ACP was inaccessible for me.

I did not update php on my server, but just looked and am running Version 8.0.17

This did not work for me, I reverted back to 7.4 to get my sites back up. No php errors logged so not sure what is causing this.

OMG... All my sites running php 8, blank white screen. Moved them to 7.4 to fix the problem. I ran no updates or anything. what could cause this?

iframely is pretty cool! is it possible to default the embed settings to a small card? When you test a url in iframely, you have the option to output a small card embed code.
