I'm still trying to figure out a way to accomplish this. Ideally, awardiing a subscription for achievements or group promotion is what I'm looking for. Or some way to identify on the /subscriptions page that the member has earned it already (still thinking this one through and how to maybe post a block with some code to show a message "Don't subscribe, you got it FREE!". It would be nice to see subscriptions awarded based on achievements. I would probably add commerce to another site or two specifically for subscriptions.

They never really caught on in any of my forums. I never really liked how club forums show up in main forums either if you turn that feature on. Really should be a way to condense them. I think most people who want that feature move to facebook groups or other.

One of my favorite features was email notification on content approval, but it broke and probably will not be fixed in 2021. I'm biased because I use content moderation/approval a lot. I do like web push notifications and SEO improvements (waiting for that to pay off). I like achievements but would really like to see closer integration with subscriptions and group promotions. I agree. We need their plugins and apps, they often fill in the blanks where IPS is lacking a feature.

Same. My eldest daughter is 13 and its TikTok, Snapchat or bust. Oh yeah, Roblox is huge with her and my 7 year old. These kids connect in the virtual world rather than go outside. If I mention Facebook, she says call Grandma, says its for old people. I only use facebook for business not personal.

Facebook isn't going anywhere in the short term. Horizon or whatever, will be the parent company. Facebook will just be one of the app/sub-companies. Its a bunch of nothing news for the general user and more for zukerberg and team to untie all that is tied to facebook. This way you can shut that down if needed and/or still operate the other companies/profit centers independently of one another under a new parent company name. The writing is on the wall for facebook, younger generations want nothing to do with it. Add to that all the controversy, this is the smartest thing they can do to separate their businesses.

Is the support forum topic to post "private" because posting urls on this site back to the individual site with the issues is not something I would suggest or like to do in a "public" forum. Is there an option for that? So basically you are charging an increased renewal for upgrades mostly and have removed any type of 1:1 support via email or ticket system.

I agree and when looking at different platforms for whatever, I always look at third party apps and integrations for expansion. A healthy 3rd party marketplace tells a story of a healthy platform in my opinion.

Me neither. Everything less blogs per year... Just forums On another note, for developers I would offer free licenses, we need these folks and can't always rely on what makes it onto the IPS roadmap. Yeah, I agree. 1-5 discount, 5-10 discount, 10+, etc., would be nice. They haven't used it in a while, they use a 3rd party

Understood. Well hopefully you release a patch because unless I save the notification setting for “content” for every new member (which is a bit annoying for multiple sites) they aren’t getting any content email notifications. So it seems to me that this added feature for 4.6.2 has disrupted the email notifications process for new members.

Oh ok, I wasn’t aware of that. I assumed it would be fixed with the next version.

So I use subscriptions to charge for group levels. I supposed you could have an achievement setting that works with group promotions (not sure if it does) but then some sort of way to identify on a subscriptions page that the user already earned it and its not available for purchase. Something like that.

This is nice, but what about the other way around....get achievements and reward with a subscription. I guess that would be more of a reward though but then again so is the badge I guess.
