Can someone tell me what i'm missing as this is driving me nuts.... Moderator Group - RSS feeds - automatically posts in a forum Every post needs moderating - yet I cannot for the life of me find where this is to turn it off The two places I have this set to not be used is in the moderator group and the forum itself (attached) I have searched the ACP but cant find another setting which is causing this ? All pointers appreciated

Did your configs ever work, because if they did then somethings changed so do you keep a record (tracking) of changes you have made to the files or backup the working files before changes ? My config file works fine but im using Redis cache and not fastcgi, happy to send you a copy for you to try ?

You really want to be looking at a dedicated server rather than a VPS, If you do go with a VPS try to get a KVM vps as they are far superior and dont suffer with overselling resources. Our dedicated was £115 UK GBP a month and has the following spec -
Looks like your running cpanel/whm as you reference easy apache I'd suggest asking at cpanel forums as its probably a cpanel/whm issue

4.6.8 Upgrade from earlier version - QUERY

I dont know as it was 4.5.x All I do remember is they were a NEWBIE on joining with restrictions and on making two posts were prompted to MEMBER where they could post links And on upgrade all members joining go straight to MEMBER I think I may have an old db backup if thats any good ? -
Ok, we had in the older 4.5 (I think) a system set up where a new member was a NEWBIE and they couldn't post links and various other stuff, We upgraded to 4.6.8 and now 4.6.9 and we were getting a lot more first post spammers with links so the upgrade broke this rule (group promotion) setting. Looking at Group promotions - Our promotion is still there but because of the new badges system all areas were blank so a new member joins as a newbie and automatically as there is nothing to say different in group promotions becomes a member with privileges I have now added a 2 post badge and put this as a group promotion into the system which is now working again You may want to look at this chaps

You will really need to give a lot more information about what you exactly want to do and what you have server wise. Here are the Nginx docs -
From the command line try restarting redis systemctl restart redis Then check the status systemctl status redis

Yes - I get that - Thankyou How is the backup provided ? File share service ? ftp ??? IE how do I get my hands on it to upload to a self hosted site ?
