I'm pretty sure Charles would not remove the STARS feature just because of you.

I would like the ban reason (something that I can type) to show in the ACP. You know... So other admins won't remove the ban or if I forget why an IP or account was banned.
As for showing to the user. Eh.
They should know why they're banned.
They might, but what if they leave for 5 months.. Come back and see they are banned. They might not remember why.. That's why this is a good idea :rolleyes: -

I have a suggestion: get a real chat server. Http is not suitable for this kind of realtime communication.

But I agree http should never be used for that :)Sure it is. Basic IM function can be accomplished; if it weren't possible or really was that much of a resource hog, Facebook wouldn't be using it. Just a suggestion guys, nothing else.
They probably have a few dedicated servers :) -

how about expanding/improving the intergration with chat services that already make use of ipb database - such as parachat
