  1. Jim (is it possible that these settings are correct, and it didn't propagate quickly enough when I changed them to "Never"?)
  2. Oh! It was literally the words "Registration Email" - that did the trick. Thank you Jim and Daniel.
  3. Thanks Jim! (What’s a language pack?) 🙂
  4. I used to know this, but I forgot - nothing I type seems to work. Thanks if anyone can help. Cheers, Don
  5. So I disabled the Hot! feature, cleared my caches, and am still getting this. There have only been two posts in several years in this topic. Does anyone have any idea? I can't even remember how to write user support! 😕 Honestly, a basic tutorial is probably what I need more than anything - I have an advanced degree in Computer Science, and probably could have coded this system from scratch, but I've been out of the game for so long that I'm functionally debilitated. (Are there any basic tutorials available with IPS or whatever it's now called?) Thanks for anyone who can point this dog in the right direction. Cheers, Don
  6. Thank you very much, Jim.
  7. Hello folks, it has been quite awhile since I've been here. I could be a poster child for someone who went from Heavy User (it has been nearly 20 years!), to Doesn't Exist, to Hoping-to-be-Heavy-User again. Injuries can take their toll. I have a lot to relearn, and one thing that's standing out on my website is the HOT! notification. Would someone be kind enough to Direct -> Me -> To -> The -> Setting? Until I regain my footing, I may be asking some pretty basic questions like this - is there a moderator's tutorial anywhere? Thank you to one and all, Roy Hobbs
  8. I don’t know anywhere else to ask this - I tried to update last night with the monthly security enhancements, and it’s stuck. I haven’t done this in awhile, so probably something I did, but what? Would someone be kind enough to guide me to help? Kind regards, Don Rockwell Thank you! 😊
  9. Hello folks, I had a field in our members' profiles - "Name" - that contained real member names and cities-of-residence. Up until this recent upgrade, It was for my eyes only, i.e., only for Admins. This is sensitive data because I promised anonymity to our members, but *I* always knew who they were. Even Moderators shouldn't be able to see this information. Anyway, as the three screenshots (hopefully) show, I no longer have the option to make this "Admin-only." Is there any way we can put this in as an option? Before, I had it displayed in each post, so I could see who the author was at-a-glance; now, I have to trudge onto the ACP, and that takes about 1-2 minutes each time - it's not worth it. I hope this makes sense; otherwise, I can explain further. Kind regards, Don Screenshots: 1) "Name" on bottom-left 2) Field Settings when I "Edit" the Name field 3) Absence of option to show only to Admins
