When we choose to follow a topic to get notified when a new post is posted, it doesn't work.

We can follow. But we have no notifications when a new post is posted.

Same here, a few users on my forum complained about this.

I genuinely hope this issue is resolved in the upcoming beta version, as it significantly reduces user engagement.

Its an open bug report so it will be looked at. However as with all betas, we cant guarentee it will be for the next beta release.
