  • Link background / Link color is missing in Header -> Desktop header

It is possible to modify the CSS of the side panel menu but not of the menu in the header.

In my example below, we see one version with the side panel activated, another without the side panel.

If the side panel is activated, you can use the Theme Editor to modify the appearance of the links and their background.

If the side panel is disabled, then the menu is present in the header. The Theme Editor no longer displays the side panel but displays an additional choice in the header. However, you can only modify the background color of the primary and secondary zone. That's all. We don't have the same choice as for the side panel

Could contain: Person, Adult, Male, Man, Text, Face, Head, File

Could contain: File, Adult, Male, Man, Person, Face, Head, Text, Webpage

If I want the same gold background color on the header as it's done for menu in side panel, I can not.

This is technically working as intended for the moment. Since the header elements can be repositioned with the drag/drop feature, it means they can be placed onto very different backgrounds.

For this reason, none of the header elements (logo, user panel, navigation or search) have colors hard-coded to them. Instead, they inherit the text color of the header row which they've been placed in. Settings for the background (active and hover) colours were also omitted for this same reason, and they instead use a semi-transparent version of the text color to ensure they're visible regardless of their position.

I'll have a play around to see if I can come up with a better solution, but regardless of the outcome, CSS can be used to adjust those elements if necessary 🙂
