Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 13, 2024Nov 13 "Prepare for v5" told me to come here. I am here to discuss! Does this mean "Prepare for v5" detected a Q&A forum? If it does that is interesting as I don't believe I have one! Ted.
November 13, 2024Nov 13 Community Expert It shouldnt be unless you have one present. If you update your access details on file, I can take a look
November 14, 2024Nov 14 Same issue. I had one, I changed it to Discussions, I still see the message. Also, Status Updates are set to "Disabled by default", but I see that warning also.

November 15, 2024Nov 15 We are utilizing the v4 platform as a support forum where the Q&A mode has been considered a perfect fit. Sorry to hear that you've decided to discontinue it. We did go through an extensive manual re-configuration phase when upgrading to v4. Now when going for v5, will you provide any kind of automatic conversion tools for turning the Q&A forums into something else, or are we phasing the manual reconfiguration phase again? 😬
November 15, 2024Nov 15 Community Expert A Q&A forum would be switched to standard forum with the "solved" mode switched on.
November 15, 2024Nov 15 Marc mentioned that it is switching automatically to a forum with solved mode on;) So yes, it's converted during the upgrade.
