Interferon Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) Collections are a common feature that basically act like "albums" for downloadable items: https://matlib.gpuopen.com/main/materials/collections Often times the download sizes for a pack of items that belong together is prohibitive, but you still want to be able to easily view what items belong together, so you can pick and choose the things that fit. Categories are not sufficient for this, because different authors always have slightly different art styles, even from project to project, and mismatched items clash badly. Here you can see there are 47 items that work well together. At 4K resolutions the total download size would be 4 GB. It's much easier and faster to pick and choose what you need and download them individually: https://matlib.gpuopen.com/main/materials/collections/b49e6ba6-07f7-451a-8f29-e4a1a11b36ce Additionally, the items span different categories. There is stone, plaster, wood, and other categories of items. Having them all in the same collection says "You can use these items together and they will look good". Edited October 6 by Interferon
