Verto Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Hello, everyone. I have a serious problem with my installation. I had several forums that I had to delete because finally they were not going to be used, and by deleting them, the rest of the community forums are no longer visible. Moreover, they have not been deleted, but remain in the delete queue, but cannot be deleted nor does the delete task seem to work. There were also some threads in those forums, which I also deleted, but now if I go into the moderation panel and try to delete them permanently, it doesn't allow me to do so either. In short, neither the forums have been deleted, nor the topics, nor can I now see any forum in my community. They are not visible and I do not know the reason, because the permissions are well configured, and have been working until today.

Verto Posted June 4 Author Posted June 4 I have been checking and I can see that the problem occurs with the fluid view of topics. When I select the fluid view, the forums and topics disappear. I have deactivated all third party add-ons, in case the problem is being caused by a plugin, app or the theme, but it still happens.
rnorth6920 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Do you have tasks set to be done with normal traffic, or do you have a cron set up? The default is the first option.
Verto Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 Yes, indeed I have it configured with cron tasks, but for some reason they don't work, because every day I get a warning to configure the cron task. However, with other cron tasks on my server, there doesn't seem to be any problems. It only happens with IPS tasks.

You would need to check why that is with your hosting provider or server administrator. There should be errors which they can provide.

But I don't see anything strange on the server, nor do I have much idea about what I should look at (my knowledge in server administration is not high). If you can give me some guidance on how to solve the problem, I would appreciate it.

If you are unsure how to perform this, you should hire a server administrator or switch to our Cloud where this will not be an issue for you.

If cron is setup correctly, you will have an error being reported in the cron log. We need that error here and then if it is our error we can resolve.

This time they did run fine, and the pending tasks have definitely been completed.
