Meris4x4 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) I noticed a bug on multiple browsers where phrases which are indeed translated do not show up on the front-end. All of that happens in pop-ups. This for example happens in Gallery when uploading new images. Edited February 4 by Meris4x4
Meris4x4 Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Also in Commerce during checkout if you click on change address the popup title reads "Change Shipping Address" instead of translated phrase. Seems like a universal issue of popup titles not being able to get translated phrases.
Meris4x4 Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Also events have the same problem - short month names are not translated though they are translated in ACP.

Marc Posted February 5 Posted February 5 You are currently using designer mode which is not made for a production environment. Please switch that off and test again. I am unable to reproduce this on my test instance
Marc Posted February 5 Posted February 5 The translations look to be there now on my end 🙂 Ah thats with the exception of the calendar items. They are controlled by your locale, so you would need to check that
Meris4x4 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Yes, strangest thing. Phrases are now showing up alright too. This locate thing is not what we are expecting please. How to override it? Why then bother by allowing to translate but not use the translation we make? While we are being on the subject I'd like for an option to disable any and all automatic locale related features.

There is no way in which to override locale related items, without modification to the platform
