Canis Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) Seems that it occurs when topic title has been changed, although that might be a month ago. Edited June 19, 2023 by Canis
Marc Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Please could you provide me an example of what you mean here?
Marc Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I see what you mean there. In the first instance, please rebuild your search index from System>Settings>Search. This will clear that issue. If you then see it happen again, please let me know in this topic and we can take a further look
Canis Posted June 20, 2023 Author Posted June 20, 2023 Thanks, I will report back when rebuild is finished. So far 1.82%. Marc 1
Canis Posted June 21, 2023 Author Posted June 21, 2023 Indexing for 48 hours now and still only 48%. It's set up as cron and we have a dedicated server that's only used for the forum. Forum is painfully slow in response. Is it possible to schedule so it runs at night only? Or give the process a lower priority? Can it be stopped once started?
Marc Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 There is no way in which to do any of those, unfortunately. If you have a large site, it will take some time. It shouldn't really be affecting performance on your site, however, as they are run the background. If they are, your MySQL instance is likely allowing too much resource to individual queries, would be my guess.

Marc Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 That is mysql configuration. You would need to contact your hosting company on this
Canis Posted June 29, 2023 Author Posted June 29, 2023 Rebuild is finished and those search errors seems to be corrected. Took 4 days with approx. 2 mill. posts. Is it a known bug that changed titles might not be updated in the index?
Marc Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Its not, no. It should be updating them. This is why you would need to let us know if you see that happen again in the future
