Max post length

I can't see any setting to adjust allowed post length (size).
Am I overlooking something?

Spammers post many posts of 5-10 MB and the forum opens very slowly until I delete them.

There is no way in which to limit the size of a post at present. What exactly is being added that is making them that size? Do you have all spam protections in place that are provided?

They add text. Thousands of lines with the same text. Spam protections are included. But they make a normal registration. These are 1-2 people who do it on purpose to slow down the site. That's how they attack us.

There would be no way in which to really deal with that other than to block the people themselves. If its someone specific coming back over and over, maybe add moderation for the first few posts. It will of course not stop it being saved, but it may stop them once they release its not getting released

They register every day, this has been going on for several months now. We moderate the first posts, but they understand and their first posts are normal and then they start again. We have no way of knowing who they are in the beginning. They use different IP addresses. We have started approving registrations by an administrator in the evening and we turn it off every morning, but that's how normal users suffer. An administrator cannot be 24/7 in the forum to monitor such a thing. I think you should consider such an option. In previous versions there was one. Today we are, tomorrow there will be other forums.

Unfortunately, there is little we can really do to assist with this at the present time. Unfortunately, if its an individual targeting you, they will find some way around it no matter what you do, until they get bored and disappear
