Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
angel71 Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Yet permissions for guests are set to See forum yes read topics yes post new topics no reply to topics no (and have been set this way for years and years) But now I have spammers posting to sell fake passports without an account. When i logout of the forum and try to create a new post it says "You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account." That's wrong. I never want anyone to post anything without an account as it would do nothing but create spam. I have checked permissions both in Members, Groups, Guests - Permissions and in forums, Permissions and all looks correct as I would expect.
Bethanyrayne Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 They can post but it then goes to registration before their post is visible.

Do you know how do I turn that off? Only those who have passed registration checks should be able to post in any shape or form! Otherwise its just causing me work deleting spam. If you wish to disable this, you can by going to ACP -> System -> Posting -> Post Before Registering. angel71 1
