Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Mohammad Abbasi Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Hello, so our website had a subscription which was in fact a compensation for another paid subscription. However, all members in this subscription have access to the vip group without any expiration. Is there any way to remove/change primary groups of a particular subscription? I don't mind buying a script or a plugin which can do this. Thanks
Morrigan Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 So you just want to remove this group from everyone?
Mohammad Abbasi Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 remove this group from a particular subscription. The other paid subscription also has this group and so members using that subscription shouldn't be removed from the group.
Morrigan Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Use Group promotions. In it you'll want to specify that it only removes it from the group in question (We'll call it group 1) by selecting it in the group promotions screen.
Mohammad Abbasi Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 Yeah let's say there are 2 subscriptions. Sub1 and Sub2. Sub1 is free whereas Sub2 is $10. Both these subscriptions grand vip access. How do i remove vip access from members using Sub1? group promotions doesn't give this flexibility
Mohammad Abbasi Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 If there's an SQL query which i could run it would be really helpful
