Hidden groups

Hi everyone,

Just wondering whether it was possible to have hidden groups, purely for the use of bulk mailing members.

Our host doesn't permit the sending of 1500+ bulk emails in one hit. They have a ceiling limit of 150 per hour, or 500 per hour if I opt for an exchange email account.

We already have too many groups, but looking for options to streamline our sending.

Any suggestions are welcome.

yes, I think you can indeed create a membergroup but make it hidden so it does not appear in search as a searchable group. make a few of those, then add members to these groups as secondary groups. and send emails based on secondary group. this should work.
