Hide Widgets from guests

Having abit of trouble with the widgets on default and custom theme

My widgets are leaving the border outline, when viewed by guests.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I have recently struggled with this as I use a lot of permissioned blocks.  It's possible by examining page source to identify unique block ID's and then use custom.css to target each block specifically. I got tired of maintaining this method and ended up using brute force and globally modified widget borders and box-shadows in custom.css.
