Risegw2 Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 I have a question about the "Transfer License" button under manage account. My community has a subscription for the forums and gallery. We want to transfer the license from one invision community account to another one. We bought the software suite in April and added in the gallery add-on last month. Now we have a new admin and need to change the license (main account holder) to a new invision account. But our forum domain and hosting are all staying the same. It is self hosted through Dreamhost. Is this do-able? Will that button accomplish this? By transferring to a different invision account, would that affect our hosted forums in any way? Would we need to reinstall them or lose any of our community's data/files?
Joel R Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Yes, that's what that transfer license button is for. No, it won't impact your hosted forums. You can send in a ticket to IPS Support in the Client Area to assist. Be aware that response may be delayed due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
