Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
PurpleSparkles Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I have recently discovered that reported content on my forum changes if a member edits out what they wrote. This is problematic and wanted to know if there was a setting that could tick this off? I want members to be able to edit their own content but reports should be a quote from that moment it was reported.
Adriano Faria Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Nope, that’s how it is. You can enable the Log Edit History then you go to the content and see all the edits made by the user.

For Moderators to see this I have to enable Admin CP for log setting. Will the Log Edit History include: Status Updates/ Replies, Topics, Images and Blog Entries?
Adriano Faria Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I'm not sure about status updates and replies as I don't use it... but will work with content items (topics, images, files, blog entries, records, etc).
PurpleSparkles Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 This still isn't a good solution because when a moderator has to edit content it doesn't show what the original party wrote. Part of the report function was going to be used as a save-copy of what was said and than editing parts of comments that crossed the line.
