P1P2C Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Hello, On our IP Board install I've currently deployed a translation pack for french. When I check what's translated I find the names of the days, the months, etc. But on the front page the dates like "Friday at 7:18 PM" stay in english, it seems that only things like "Yesterday/Today at" or "19 march 2018" are translated. In admin panel I've seen a locale setting, but on our host there isn't any for fr_FR, and our provider doesn't want to install them, citing system concerns. bfarber Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 If you want to support a French language pack, you need the French locale installed. There should not be any system concerns installing a locale. It's just a definition map for the server to understand how dates, currencies, numbers, etc. should be formatted.
