Same email for multiple registrations?

I'm playing with running an RP forum, so I purchased the Linked Accounts plugin. That way any members I have can have their character accounts and their out-of-character accounts linked together. But when I tested it, I wasn't able to sign up my test account with the e-mail address my test board uses. 

 On a previous software I've used, there was an option to allow multiple registrations for any one e-mail address. Does IPS have a similar option? I've been poking around in the ACP but haven't seen anything that would allow that.

No, there is no option to allow multiple accounts for a single email address. The email address is treated as a unique identifier within our software.
