Use existing images for feature photo

Hey guys,

do you know any solution on how to use existing media / attachements for the feature photo? I want to use the same image for blog entries or pages e.g. as a feature photo (not inside the editor itself but the upload function). Maybe I'm missing a built-in function or any paid plugin which is able to do this. If not: Count this as a request for a plugin? 😉

If I have to upload the same image over and over again this will blow up the disk usage so I'd rather upload the image once and then use it whereever needed.
