Reordering Announcements in the Sidebar

I would like to propose a new feature: the ability to reorder the announcements in the sidebar. At the moment, the announcements are listed in reverse order of when they were created (oldest to newest), but there are times when a newly created announcement is temporally more relevant and should be highlighted.
