Auto Re-posting of Pages-Articles to Social - Issue with RSS

I am having a strange issue where whenever anyone makes a comment, even on a very old article, it is somehow causing the article to get re-posted to my social media sites. I use the RSS feed to post my latest content to social media. 

Any idea which settings might cause this? Somehow a new comment is updating something...perhaps the "lastmod" date in the RSS?

I think I found out what is causing this. If you edit the database there is an option: "Update the last action" and mine is set to "When a new comment is made only". Changing it to "When the item is edited only" should fix this I assume.
