Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
BenCurry Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Hi, over the last week we have had a high number of spam accounts getting through the defences. I'm running CAPTCHA2 and have spam def on. it seems to come in bouts. nothing for ages, then 3-4 new accounts each day for the last few weeks. I've just updated all my security questions (hobby topic related, so you need to know the topic to pass the quiz) but that seems no barrier. any more suggestions? http://tga.community
knightsystems Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Hi @BenCurry I personally use CleanTalk.org works great, but the upgrade process is not really nice. You have to delete the plugin, install the new one and configure everything again (5 options or something like this). But that's aside it is doing a really great job keeping spam away. If something goes through, you get bonus credit as a sorry. Support is fast and helpful. So full recommendation from me.
