Edititing permission for only one sub-forum ?

I need to permit a group of users to edit their messages only y one sub-forum ?

How can I do ?

I'd like this as well.  I have my 3.x forum modified so I can allow indefinite editing by users in specific forums.  I can also grant users the ability to edit specific posts, which is especially useful when someone needs to maintain the first post of a thread.  I only allow users to edit posts initially for a short period of time as there has been too much abuse of the edit feature otherwise. 

I'll modify 4.x to allow this same behavior, which hopefully I can do via hooks.  If so, I'll make the hooks available once I finish and test them.
