When do we get to sell club memberships?

still waiting for this. I won't use clubs till I can monetize them.

My members should be able to sell memberships to their clubs (with of course the site owner getting a %cut)

Try working with Commerce/create product/move users into new group, creating new groups and assigning which groups can view/participate through each groups settings. Your basically selling memberships to view clubs doing it this way. Set renewals so they are moved out of the privileged group to view if they don't renew. that's a basic way to do it.

 

Commerce handles memberships and group permissions like a dream. Using group permissions is also really imo the best way to sell files too using downloads. You get much more control over your ad and more using commerce to handle the sale over downloads.

What @DesignzShop mentioned is the current wave of action if you wish to accomplish this. However, interesting concept though to allow members to sell membership to their clubs so I moved this to Feedback/Ideas forum.

It's a fantastic idea actually. Allow the club owners to monetize on their clubs and take a cut from that. Could be used as an alternative to things like patreon, and allows for them to have forums, galleries, etc. I like this idea and 100% support it.

I hope someone gives this idea a serious look. We can use our clubs like patreon. Or instead of

I was looking at doing something like this, having it built in would be fantastic,

I am/will be allowing this through manual work and direct connection with the club owners. I do not mind it as it will give me opportunity to get to know my members and club owners on a more personal level.
