Editor - start next line - issues

I was thinking of changing to start new line but I've had it as go to next line for a few years. If I changed now, it would create the following issue.

I thought, is there any way to safely remove single empty <p></p> in the posts, it would need to be just the single ones though, so not 3 of them for example <p></p><p></p><p></p> as they may have been put in to create a gap in posts from the poster, although the gap is going to be much bigger.
