Caching only the index to visitors

Hi,

Currently, there is a cool option to cache all pages to visitors. This has a drawback that view count isn't updated for users reading the cached page.

I suggest an option to cache only the index page to visitors (both the index using Pages and the index using Forums), this way the counters will still be updated for our articles (using Pages), which is very important to us, while we can cache the index page of our website to visitors for several minutes without any issue.
