'Most users online'

In the general statistics box, there is a 'most users online' stat. This is common on forums I've used before, and shows the most people who have ever been online at once.

However, with IPS, this number has to be entered manually. What's the point of that? How would the admin even know or keep track? I don't get it...

it should update automatically as the figure increases 

as in if it starts off  at 1 when 3 members are online it should then update to display 3 and so on
