Set form field focus

I've asked before, but it was either rejected or is now buried.

For example, I click create new topic.  I then need to click in the Title field.  It would be best if the cursor loaded in that field.  Then after I type in the title it would seem logical that I can tab into the message / body field, but I can't.  I need to grab the mouse again and click their too.
