Is there an add-on or application available, or would someone be able to develop one, which automatically posts certain items to a central facebook page (for example, whenever there's a new blog entry or event added, a post is automatically made to the communities facebook page saying there's a new blog entry or event added)

Would pay for this functionality

Create a custom RSS feed for the content you want to export and then use a service like IFTTT to post to social network sites from that feed.
