Purchased this and installed, everything is working great and everyone is loving it. Great way to keep track of bugs on my website.

But I'm running into an issue with admin permissions. I've enabled everything I can find, but I can't get a non-full admin to be able to create/edit projects and item types. Where is this setting located?

 

May I ask how you tried to hide it?

That's not true.
Everybody with proper permissions can manage projects and items. There's a setting called "bot" which is used for the automatic created content.

I'll be more then happy to pay you your money back if you're not happy with the product

- I tried hiding it using the Menu manager and by disabling the app itself, neither work.

- There are no permissions besides view projects, see items, comment, and create. If you're saying that you need to be an actual system Administrator to assign issues then that is a huge oversight since normal members and other groups should be able to assign issues as well if I want to set it that way. There is no option to do that since the permissions only have 4 basic settings for all user groups. I don't want to have to make someone a system Admin just so they can assign issues to other members, it doesn't make sense. You need to add a new group permission for "assign issues" and/or allow people to assign Project Managers on an individual basis.

- No need to refund the money since I would like to try version 2.2 first.

You're right! 
The current system is quite limited.

I have changed this in 2.2. The next version will introduce "project managers" which will have the power to assign issues to members.

 

They'll also be the one which will get notifications once an issues due date was reached and if the bug wasn't fixed / feature wasn't implemented. They'll also have more tabs and features on the overview page 

 

The recent release was quite of "pushed" by some other members here, I don't disagree that it's kind of half baked and that some features are limited... But we thought that's it better to have a half backed solution which will be improved later, then nothing...

Trust me, there's a lot yet to be announced coming in 2.2 and it will feel more like a 3.0 then a 2.2. release

There's a issue at the last beta, I can't change the project status from open to closed.
In chrome I got only a popup to change the version and a popup with the content (Here).
I'm not able to close one on chrome.
Perhaps that is an issue by me, I'll take also a look.

I have the same issue, had yet to post it in the Fosters site bug tracker.

Hello, I would like to know how the release system works please?

Get some db errors , when I add a issue its not stay in the project itself , the issue for a specific project shows up in all projects issue tab on all projects .

Hello,

Does it supports post prefixes? Should be very helpful to avoid creating lots of projectes. eg for a script table prefix can help to organize bugs to Installation, AdminCP, UserCP, Frontend, Templates etc.

If I understood well the "Version" is also a text string and a link and overlap each other. See the "Version History" link, or Release History, can't read it well.

Edited: The text overlap is when the description splits in 2 lines. Most probably a missing overflow: hidden, but again the line goes over the text. I'm not good with css so can't suggest anything.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean with post prefixes/table prefixes. Could you please clarify it:)

I'm still novice using IPS, but I think that, as all forums it supports post prefic. Something like "internal categories", usually before the title.

eg here is an example of a xenForo post prefix.

 

Any news for this? 🙂
