BUG with sorting by custom field date

Hi,

We are having trouble sorting by custom field date when we have a db with different range of dates.... 

After wasting a lot time with support, I've asked a senior developer to take a look at what happens, he checked and said you have a bug on your side, when you sort by custom field type date you convert the date into timestamp and when you do the actual sorting you treat the values of the dates as "string" instead of "number" and therefore the sorting looks wrong/disordered.... when you work with dates from 2010+ you'll hardly notice this bug, but when you work on a wider range of records dates you see the problem occurs....

When this bug is going to be fixed?

i have submit a ticket related to this for error logs sorting... it mark solved for 4.1.17, i hope this is solved on all case.
