Delete tags

Hi, i need to manually delete some tags from my site. These will not delete from the control panel/admin.

my site is cloud hosted with IPS, is there a way to manually go into the database and delete these?

I am using the Advanced Tags app (which utilises the native IPS tags system) and this app gives the option to delete tags. However, this is not working, when you click delete it doesnt actually delete the tag

Ryan has said this issue is because of putting a space in the tag and for some reason IPS doesnt like this. I really need to delete the tags that are not displaying correctly. 

Any ideas? is there a way to delete tags in IPS? or through the database?
