Upgrade 3.4.9 to 4.1.14.x Getting this error

Got all the files copied up to my server, but now when I run the upgrader, I get the following error. My username is "six916". 

mySQL query error: SELECT m.*, g.* FROM ibf_members m LEFT JOIN ibf_groups g ON (g.g_id=m.mgroup) WHERE LOWER(name)='six916'

SQL error: Unknown column 'm.mgroup' in 'on clause'
SQL error code: 1054

I'm not a SQl expert, but looks like it doesn't recognize the forum name.  I've tried known good ones.   Help.

Sounds like you're missing the column mgroup from the members-table. Your forum name is not related to this. 

From which version to which version are you trying to upgrade?
