Migrating from CentOS 6 to 7 VPS

On 6 I was using mySQL but on 7 everyone seems to recommend MariaDB which I installed. When trying to import my forum DB, I get the following error:

ERROR 1214 (HY000) at line 1287: The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes

What am I doing wrong?

On the centos 6 or 7 server? It's only installed on my 6 box.

Centos 6: Server version: 5.6.32 MySQL Community Server (GPL)

Centos 7: 

# rpm -qa | grep mariadb
mariadb-5.5.50-1.el7_2.x86_64
mariadb-server-5.5.50-1.el7_2.x86_64
mariadb-libs-5.5.50-1.el7_2.x86_64

OK all sorted, I updated to MariaDB 10.1
