Does any know of a way, or a plugin, that will allow a user to click on a floating icon, or something, that takes the user back to the main topic?

I know we have "Page Up" or "Back to Top" plugins, but that is only good if you are on the same page as the starter topic.

I know there are also double carets at the lower left of any topic page if the pages go beyond the first page, to click on and you are taken back to the starter topic. But what if you are in the middle of a long page, or on Page 3 of posts to a topic, and the posts are 25 deep per page, and you want to return to the starter topic without having to scroll up or down to get to the double carets? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
