Suspending member from posting

Is there any where you can suspend a member from posting for a period ....

We have a few high rate member that every now and then go off the rails and on the old firmware we would stop them from posting for a period of time.

Can this be done with the new firmware and is there a application or plugin we can install that will allow a mod to use..?
