How to squeeze IP Content Database filters height

I have never seen such effect of dropdown menu (without multi selection) to appear like this (check attached).

Can anyone please help me in fixing this with some coding help or plugin I can buy.....? We need filters for our classifieds and this looks really stupid to kill whole side bar with filter display and hiding the car brand below the fold. Thanks in advance.
