New content indication on menu

When a user receive notifications, or new PM there is an indication like this : 

It would be great if it would possible to configure this for others applications : 

For example : 

@Adriano Faria Links directory : new links added.

Store : new products added

idem forum etc....

It would be optional and configurable for all IPS apps and for some marketplace apps.

Maybe it is difficult to do that ?

I could sponsor this app if a developer could do it.
